Esteban Sesso and Salvador Trapani
A show of music, theatre and clown that takes the audience on a journey through the circus world. Salvador Trapani as Iván Mitrenko, and Esteban Sesso as El Maestro, a classically trained musician, perform the traditional comedy duo in which the clown’s cheekiness is set against the seriousness of the scholar. Between melodies played with saw and piano, and other unconventional instruments, this duo combines music, humour and juggling.
L’invention
In this show, Salvador Trapani’s character, Ivan Mitrenko, a musicologist with the air of an inventor, arrives at his workshop to give rise to a poetic musical ceremony through his latest creation: L`Invention. Evoking a love story and together with the artistic spirits, the ritual of eccentric music, fire and dance begins. It is a work that manages to capture, through a story by the writer Haroldo Conti, the search for a new language. L`Invention was awarded the Co-production Prize of the Municipality of Rosario and the support of the National Theatre Institute.
